Yes, even going to a full-service gas station is an experience! When my friend Neung took us outside of Bangkok a few weeks ago, she stopped to fill up. The gas station attendant came up to the car, asked her what she wanted and placed this advertisement on the hood of the car for her to look at while he was pumping gas. Interesting!! It featured snacks and soft drinks; the concept is worthy of note and the fact that “culture” is designed to NEVER leave the mind at rest for a moment is quite fascinating!
